Van 29 augustus tot en met 5 september is in AG de tentoonstelling Framing the Beyond 2025 te zien, als onderdeel van Queer Film Festival Utrecht. Op het snijvlak van film en kunst verkent Queer Film Festival Utrecht de vele manieren waarop alternatieve en vaak onderbelichte verhalen gecreëerd en verteld kunnen worden. Naast de tentoonstelling doet QFFU dit met een uitgebreid en gevarieerd programma van paneldiscussies, Q&A-sessies, workshops, een bruisend nachtleven, en natuurlijk films. Framing the Beyond 2025 is een interdisciplinaire tentoonstelling waarin zeven jonge queer kunstenaars hun werk tonen. Onder hen zijn vier studenten en alumni van HKU. Ontdek welke verhalen zich buiten het geijkte kader afspelen en hoe de deelnemende kunstenaars die op persoonlijke manieren weten te verbeelden.

Queer Film Festival Utrecht presents work by emerging artists
From August 29 to September 5, the exhibition Framing the Beyond 2025 will be on view at AG as part of Queer Film Festival Utrecht. At the intersection of film and art, Queer Film Festival Utrecht explores the many ways in which alternative and often underrepresented stories can be created and told. In addition to the exhibition, QFFU does this through an extensive and varied program of panel discussions, Q&A sessions, workshops, a vibrant nightlife – and of course, films.
